Sometimes it just has to be quick. If the children come home from school very hungry or if you just haven't been able to eat early even in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, dishes that can be prepared in a few minutes have to be on the table. But if you don't want to do without health and good taste in spite of the rush, read on. Here are quick recipes for the whole family.

Colorful omelette with cheese

Preparation time: 15 minutes

ingredients: 5 eggs, ½ Hot peppers, 2 tomatoes, ½ Onion, 50 g of grated cheese, ½ Teaspoon oregano, salt and pepper to taste

preparation: Cut the onions into small cubes and sauté in a pan with a little oil until translucent (medium heat). While the onions are simmering, cut the pepperoni and tomatoes into small pieces. Now put the eggs in a bowl and whisk together, mix in a little salt, pepper and oregano and add the whole thing to the onions in the pan. Scatter tomatoes and peppers over the top and continue frying until the omelette has set. Now sprinkle cheese on top and serve.

Spicy pepperoni mince pan

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Ingredients: 3 onions, 2 peppers, 500 g mixed minced meat, 100 ml cream, salt and pepper as desired

Preparation: Sear the minced meat in a large pan. Cut the onions and peppers into fine slices or cubes, mix them with the mince and continue cooking over a medium heat for about eight to ten minutes. Now add the cream, briefly bring to the boil and season with salt and pepper - the family recipe is ready. You can serve it with rice or pasta, it goes even faster if you use flatbread.

Fast spaghetti with fresh tomatoes

Preparation time: 15 minutes

ingredients: 200 g spaghetti, 5 large tomatoes, 1 clove of garlic, 5 tablespoons of olive oil, some fresh basil, salt and pepper as desired

preparation: Cook the spaghetti in a large saucepan with boiling water for about 8 minutes. Meanwhile, cut tomatoes and garlic into small pieces, sauté in a pan over medium heat until translucent and then season with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta, mix with the tomato and garlic mixture, sprinkle with basil and serve.


Sausages in a dressing gown

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients: 200 puff pastry from the cooling shelf, 10 mini sausages, 1 egg yolk

preparation: Roll out the puff pastry and cut into small triangles (approx. 10 cm). Place one sausage per triangle on one long side of the triangle, roll up the dough, brush with egg yolk and bake at 200 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

Pancakes with fresh fruit

Preparation time 15 minutes

ingredients: 2 eggs, 150 g flour, 300 ml milk, 1 pinch of salt, 8 teaspoons of soft butter, fresh fruit of your choice (e.B. Banana, berries, apples)

preparation: Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix with the whisk to a smooth dough. Now heat a pan with a little oil, pour in the dough in portions with a ladle and bake until golden brown over medium heat. Cut the fruit while baking and then serve both together.

Lightning cake from the microwave

Preparation time: 10 minutes

ingredients: 30g butter, 3 tablespoons sugar, 6 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar, ½ Teaspoon baking powder, 1 egg, 3 teaspoons yogurt, fresh fruit to taste, for example blueberries or apples

preparation: Put the butter in a large tea cup and let it melt in the microwave (10 seconds at 800 watts). Now add the remaining ingredients to the melted butter, stir everything well with a spoon and bake for 1 minute and 40 seconds at 800 watts in the microwave to make a fresh mug cake.
